Passion, Fight and Serious Rock. Heston Drop was formed by its original members in Adelaide's eastern suburbs in the summer of 2008. From the moment they decided to join musical forces, their vision was clear and shared: to blend their love of classic rock sounds and attitude with sharp, desirable pop hooks. Rehearsals started in earnest as the trio hired gloomy looking spaces every week to create colorful musical havoc, playing songs by bands they were inspired by, including 'The Rolling Stones', 'Foo Fighters', 'Kings of Leon' and 'John Mayer'. Realizing that the stage was where they belonged, original music started flowing from the bands core. As you could imagine initial attempts did not meet their expectations, but as they progressed the fusion of their individual styles started to mold into the Heston Drop sound.
