Bio

From Sydney, Australia, Hiaground are a rock band elements of Indie Rock and pop into an energetic musical punch. "The Way That I Want You" is the first taste of Hiagrounds' debut full length album, set for independent release early - mid 2020. Working with good friend Oscar Sharah (Mesmeriser, Mel Blue) in makeshift bedroom studio's and small rented spaces, Hiaground honed in on an energetic, powerful and uplifting sound, with depth and unique character.
Hiaground have played shows throughout Europe, supported Australian icons and headlined their own mini-festival multiple times. With a strong foundation in playing live, the fellas embarked on a journey of writing and recording which lead to their upcoming full length album.
Hiaground had humble beginnings. With no singing experience, but deep appreciation of songwriting, Jimmy began to write with Pat in early 2014. Pat had a life time of guitar playing under his belt and also a deep affection for songwriting. As the two gained confidence and started to form an acoustic set, Liam (Pat's brother) was recruited on drums, Fernando on Bass, Kyle on guitar (now Me Again). The group had no name but were offered local gigs performing a mix of covers and their own songs at local pubs. The band quickly took to playing live and grew into an established independent rock act.

K so I've been waiting for this band to give us a really killer song and I think this one's it. Fill your pockets if you're into the likes of Sticky and Ocean Alley.
