      Jackson Freud and Tom Hulse proudly present The High Heaven. Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, the band draws inspiration from the desert plains and whiskey-soaked saloons of the Old West, spinning picaresque yarns of lost love and bullet-filled revenge, of wayward wanderers and grizzled outlaws with no hope of redemption. Their debut album 'Fairytales of the Heartland' was released on 27 November. The nine-track Western epic showcases the band's eclectic alt-country sound and includes previous singles 'Dead Dollar Bill' and 'Nowhere Bound', along with their b-sides 'The Evening Redness in the West' and 'Bad Habits'. Bloody as a Sergio Leone picture, yet instilled with all the dreamlike imagery of a Cormac McCarthy novel, the High Heaven's debut record is one ride you'll want to take.
