Born in Perth, Western Australia, HIRAKU (aka Jacob Hiraku Machin) realised the power of language at young age. Moving to Japan at the age of 7 and determined to communicate and connect with his new Japanese classmates and world, Jacob became completely fluent in Japanese in just over half a year. He now implements Japanese in his music to connect with a wider audience.
