Bio

The Hoi Palloi experience has been described as 'a sip of Baileys in between a bunch of Melbourne Bitters' by a punter wearing a Brunswick beanie. Hoi Palloi have been cooking up songs and playing What Are The Odds for 8 full moons or so, performing their zingy art-folk/alt jazz around Melbourne heaps for the past year or so. They’ve recently got a Sofar Sounds video, of their track ‘Tasmania’, hooked into their belt loops and have been playing some good shows alongside legends like Rat!hammock, Japanese Wallpaper, IV League and Spacey Jane. Hoi Palloi are breathlessly gearing up to release their Debut EP ‘Beneath the Quiet Insulation of the Stars’ and single ‘Tidal Mark’ at the Toff on September 13th.

Hannah is like a mystical siren. I just have a deep trust in her voice and just when you think you're safe she bursts like a light into these cray cray vocal adlibs that are like sugar cubes of delight.
