A few years later, with the addition of Oliver, Homebrand had finally begun writing their own music and playing a steady amount of shows at their local YMCA u18 music venue.

With the release of their debut single in 2017, Homebrand began to share lineups with some larger names, and play some of Perths great festival lineups.
