Bio

Hounds of Hiroshima are a four piece punk rock band from Launceston, Tasmania who have rapidly built a reputation for powerful/frenetic live shows and infectious Punk Rock melodies in vein of bands such as Rival Schools, Bodyjar, and The Story So Far.

The band was formed in 2009 as a three piece and played minimally until 2012 when two new members were added completing the current line-up.

Hounds of Hiroshima have released one E.P. entitled ‘Miles’ in 2010 which showcased a more indie-rock feel which the band has gone away from in recent years.

In 2012 Hounds of Hiroshima released the single ‘Beneath Your Tears’ along with the B-Side ‘Into The Fire’ which has also received positive reviews state wide. They released an accompanying film clip for ‘Beneath Your Tears’ which has received many views online.

Their latest collection of songs are currently being recorded for their brand new E.P. ‘Send Us To The Depths Of New Hope’ which is set to showcase a harder, punk/rock sound.

In 2014 Hounds of Hiroshima will extensively tour the mainland of Australia and continue to build upon a growing fan base in Tasmania in an effort to bring their exciting live show to a wider audience.
