Taking inspiration from their internal world, nature and nightclubs, HRTPWR writes and sings with an openness to vulnerability. Born in the Wimmera mallee, HRTPWR began songwriting at the age of 9. Growing up around rodeos, HRTPWR's songwriting style is influenced by country music. Throughout their adult life, HRTPWR spent years attending queer dance and techno parties. This love for dance music and storytelling now translates through in their dark pop sound.
