Bio
Poetic and impassioned, Huck Hastings makes artful and affecting pop that will work its way deep under your skin.
Since his crowdfunded 7 song debut - 'Huckleberry Blues', Hastings has been hard at work. In addition to performing widely – both solo and as the singer of indie-pop outfit Hollow States (the Sydney support for Olympia’s “Different Cities” tour with two EPs of its own) – Hastings took a brief hiatus to write a commanding body of new work.
The lead single 'Hey Babe?' (released in October 2018) not only scored rotation on FBi Radio but also earned Hastings a slot as FBi’s Independent Artist of the Week.
International support, in both digital and print media, quickly followed.
His latest offering, “Soft—An Epilogue” is another taste from his current body of work that he will be releasing in a serialised fashion over the course of 2020.
"He is authentic, he is heartfelt, he is quirky...He mixes all that in his adorable little melting pot and puts out this dreamy pop music" -Joe Khan FBi Radio

As if this isn't the most charming track you'll come across this week! Huck's painted loved-up portrait the feels so clear you don't just see it but feel, smell and taste it.
