Bio

Hugo Lee is a Saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist from Melbourne who plays a variety of genres and has performed internationally. His unique attitude to composition has allowed him to explore new depths.
Trained both in Jazz (at the Australian National University and University of Illinois) and Classical (AMusA Diploma for Saxophone), Hugo Lee performs in a wide spectrum of acts ranging from Traditional, Classical, Country, Folk and World through to Jazz, Blues, Fusion, Rock'n'Roll, Reggae, Pop, Rock, Funk, Electronic and Experimental. He spent a year in Europe(particularly Edinburgh and Berlin), travelling and busking on the streets, playing in Jam Sessions/Open Mic Nights and performing at gigs with bands of varying lineups/styles, including at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. During this time, he played with musicians from all walks of life, from bagpipers to hard rockers and DJs. Inspired by this, he constantly explores new musical avenues to discover original sounds and styles. Hugo is available for gigs, functions and festivals as a solo act or as part of an ensemble.

Killed it! If the next James Bond movie was set in New Orleans, this would probably be the theme song.
