Bio

Hunter Carpenter is the Indie Folk/Rock project of singer/song writer Callum Bint. Drawing from such influences as Bon Iver, The Middle East and Ben Howard, Hunter Carpenter produce a raw sound of acoustic and electric guitar riffs, blended with solid folk rhythms to create an instantly recognizable sound. The debut, self-titled EP, Hunter Carpenter, sets out on a journey through love, loss and a desperate struggle for restoration, capturing its audience in the storytelling and inviting them to follow. Memorable melodies and haunting lyrics charged with story will leave Hunter Carpenter listeners eager for more. The band is made up of four Perth musicians; Callum Bint (Guitars/Vocals), David Chidgzey (Bass/Vocals), Brad Green (Keys/Vocals), Caleb Quartermaine (Drums/Vocals), who have been working over 2012 to produce the debut self titled release. The Hunter Carpenter EP is set to Launch on 19 November 2012 at Kulcha, on South Tce, Freo. This is a really pretty track, reminiscent of The Middle East but definitely not a straight copy. I look forward to hearing more from you guys.
