Bio

Hyde (formerly known as Electric Sea Spider) combines humid drones, harsh percussion and NBA slam dunks through dense found sound arrangements. He started making music as a joke at 12 years old, was name-dropped on Channel 7's “My Kitchen Rules” and once got booed while supporting Flume. In 2016, he released "Ox Hill" on underground-championing label Nice Music.

Loved ESS back in the day, shouldn't come as any surprise that I'm well into this.

RIP Electric Sea Spider and long live Hyde. Ode To A Hiccup is a testament to your sound design and your creative arrangements. Sure, I'm a real music theory peasant but attempting to figure out some of these time signatures has actually sent my consciousness inescapably to the astral plane.
