Although a few members have been playing together in a band since Yr7, this band IF formed from the semester 2 Yr9 Music Elective subject for the jjj competition two weeks ago. They were inspired by and chose to support a school project against world child sex trade that raised almost $1400.00 for the organisation Love 146. These students support the school and the organisation's fight to end all world child sex trade - The song title and composition Love 146 is a joint collaboration with Student Council who launched their fundraiser at a whole school assembly beginning of this semester with a powerful power point presentation. The lyrics are the words from the presentation. The Yr 9 Music Electives recently co-wrote the music and vocal chorus during their practical and theory double periods over a couple of weeks and recorded the song this week.
