The Incredible Dead Goons have been playing their own brand of music since 1999. The nine piece band sound like the warped soundtrack to a Tim Burton movie, playing music that goes beyond genre. With elements of Dixieland, Caribbean, Horror, Rock and Nintendo thrown into the sonic gumbo, and an infectious and sometimes chaotic live show, The Goons are truly unique. Their third album, "La Rumbla & The Old Scottish Rum" was launched to a full house at Northcote Social Club on 5 August 2006. The 13-track album was launched a mere 5 weeks after initial tracking began. In the time since the launch of the album, 'The Goons' have played at the Royal Melbourne Show's Live At Night, Northcote Social Club for the HIGH VIBES FESTIVAL, at The Espy and at the Legendary Bakehouse Christmas Party. PBS and RRR have supported the band with several songs off the album receiving airplay.
