India and the Journey to the East were an indie rock band based in Newcastle, Australia. Fronted by female singer-songwriter India Seddon-Callaghan and joined by; Taylan Bragg, Cameron Brownell and Alex McWhirter. This four piece was known for connecting with the audience, through the depth of India's lyrics and her fast-paced punk influenced riffs. All together their performances were emotional rollercoasters, always leaving the audience wanting more. With strong influences of Courtney Barnett, The Cranberries, Pink Floyd and of course The Beatles India and the Journey to the East are sure to take you on a journey through the mind, body and spirit.
