Artist:Indian Gun

Indian Gun is a five piece guitar band from Newcastle, NSW. Forming officially in 2010, they play raw alt rock music that is equal parts delicate and bruising. 2012 saw the band release 'Seaworthy' an EP recorded and mixed by their guitarist Kooreil Lester. Seaworthy's raw, honest feel, warm vocals and intertwining three guitar attack scored positive reviews and led to supports with some of their their musical heroes, Charge Group and Jamie Hutchings (Bluebottle Kiss). While continuing to refine and expand their 90's inspired alt rock sound through their memorable live sets, Kooreil hit record again for the double A-Side 'Career Year/Underdogs' in early 2013. With the song 'Career Year' spinning on FBI radio and Triple J Unearthed radio, CY/UD is the sound of Indian Gun at a new level of stomping, noisy confidence.
