Ballarat musician Inka is a musician with big dreams. He wants to help young people with difficult life circumstances learn to express themselves creatively, and he wants to be a positive influence on his community As a musician, he’s travelled to Berlin to work on his craft, as well as teamed up with Melbourne producer MixedByJD to release the 9-track project Eunoia. It’s here where you can hear the influence of Frank Ocean, as Inka sings over beats as varied as soulful jazz, to groovy dancehall. He’s always looking to push his sound further, and it shows through his collaborations. He’s previously worked on a group project with fellow Ballarat musicians Ginge Mansion and Big B, as well as collaborating with Dazed & Flawlezz, R.em.edy and Potent24.
