------------
A combination of Progressive-Rock, Post-Rock, and Alternative-Rock (tinged with Middle Eastern influences), Interalia is sometimes soft, sometimes loud, with changing time signatures and extended instrumentals. Listeners can expect solid, tribal percussion; heavy, driving bass-lines; intricate and ambient guitar melodies; playful piano hooks and rich, powerful, female vocals.

Interalia spent the best part of 2014 working on the debut EP ‘Amongst Other Things’; the title of which stays true to the nature of the recordings, including songs demonstrating the sheer range of genres the musicians are capable of writing in.

In May of 2015, ‘Amongst Other Things’ was released, paving the way for a new generation of musical creation with new drummer Campbell Buick.

Already creating waves of intrigue amongst punters and musicians alike, the four very talented musicians now intend to push the boundaries of the progressive-rock genre, as well as their own abilities, bringing an entertaining new act to the Brisbane music scene. 2016 will see the band take their newest musical ideas into the studio where they plan to record their second EP, going well above and beyond their previous releases.
