Illusion of Despair- an anomaly , have progressed in the last 5 years as one of the nations quintessential bands, this being evident within the songwriting ability & idioms common to the group. An almost serendipity has occurred in America & Europe with itune sales of their latest single "Forsaken" exceeding expectations! This however is a truly remarkable feat for an obscure underground indie band hailing from the NSW Central Coast of Australia , and would no doubt ratify Illusion of Despair's labour of love for themselves & most importantly their fans. 2011 is looking efficacious for Illusion of Despair by way of the arrival of the much anticipated single & video release of "Forsaken" as well as invitations to play gigs in New Zealand & America.
