RONHIDE are a three piece band from Wollongong with a formible sound and a dominating stage presence. They are quickly climbing the ranks in the local music scene. Influenced by the icons of their heavy rock forefathers, IRONHIDE combine the heaviness of Metallica, the groove of Pantera, the riff-wizardry of Iron Maiden and the "good-time" aesthetics of Van Halen. IRONHIDE have been together for 3 years, gigging locally and in Sydney, Winning over fans and friends along the way. Some achievements include coming 2nd in the "Liechhardt Live" band competition and becoming Uni-Bar and Mercury Bluescope band-comp finalists.
