Artist:Isobel Galloway

Sydney local, Isobel Galloway has been immersed in the arts for as long as she can remember. Studying music and then turning to a solo career at a young age, her performance experience has shaped the contemporary artist she is today. Isobel is an old soul who is inspired by her Australian, Scottish, Spanish, Jamaican and Irish heritage. She began performing aged eight following a chance encounter with a singing coach when her voice was ‘released’. A voice of huge range with rich, soulful, creamy tones; able to create an emotional response in most listeners. Her sound traverses jazz, soul and blues and formal training under-scores her pure sound. Influences include the likes of Nina Simone, Etta James, Stevie Wonder, Lauren Hill, Amy Winehouse, Maggie Rogers. Isobel released an EP ‘Take Me Away’ in 2016 and has been a presence in Sydney's live music scene. Galloway recently returned from Los Angeles ready to curate the next unique tracks.
