Bio

Ivey is a young alternative five-piece hailing from the Gold Coast/Brisbane region. Led by vocalist Millie Perks and songwriter Lachlan McGuffie, Ivey have been rising to prominence in the Australian Music scene ever since their song "Cascade" became a standout entry of the 2015 Unearthed High Competition. Since then, the band have received ongoing love from radio and blogs alike, gone on to support acts such as Middle Kids, Cub Sport and Ruby Fields and have packed out and sold out their own shows along the east coast over the past three years. Their latest EP - "Gorgeous" was released in October of 2018, which saw the single "Won't Be" premiered on Triple J's home and hosed program. The single was also loved so much by renowned Parisian label Kitsuné (Parcels, Two Door Cinema Club, Hot Chip), that Won't Be has been re-released on the French Label via their Hot Stream Platform. On top of this, Ivey recently won the "Pop" Category of the first Extra Support Acts Campaign which saw their live video on Youtube gain over 900,000 view; Earning them a spot to perform at the 2018 Aria Week Showcases. Ivey are currently undertaking their first headline national tour and are also working on writing new music for their third EP due in 2019.

Another indie gem bursting with energy and fun. Who could possibly stand still to this?

A jangley, up-beat, sing-a-long kind of a track. I hear a bit of San Cisco on this one! This is super dooper fun.
