Bio

Jack The Fox, made up of school friends Angus Robb and Justin Lewis, began writing and recording on the Victorian Surf Coast in 2015. With influences like Ben Howard and Matt Corby their music has been best described as a smooth blend of acoustic folk, soul and blues with a touch of funk. Justin plays lead guitar, slide guitar and has the rhythm section covered with his percussive acoustic guitar “tapping” style and stomp while Angus demonstrates a large vocal range with a distinctive vocal timbre alongside a harmonious swell of didgeridoo and harmonica. The pair adapt seamlessly from intimate acoustic duo to full 7 piece band with horn section, perfectly suited from backyard to festival.
Their first release ‘Brother’ made waves both internationally and on home soil reaching #1 on the Spotify global charts and now sits at over 3.6million streams.
Jack The Fox have a unique, cheerful and honest presence that evokes comfort in audiences of all ages. By sharing stories of love, loss and friendship they highlight the importance of opening up about mental health and shed some much needed sunshine on this weird and wonderful thing called life.

The last few years has seen Jack The Fox support the likes of Tash Sultana, The Pierce Brothers, Caravana Sun, Radical Face (USA) and Ben Whiting, while packing out main stage shows at festivals like Nannup Music Festival, Grampians Music Festival, Swagger Music Festival and Sea Shepherd Stand Fast Festival.
The past year saw Jack The Fox finish their debut EP with local Melbourne producer Hayden Calnin. The highly anticipated first single ‘Here We Are’ echoes the importance of being present and is to be released in November 2018.
