Artist:Jacob Rohde

Jacob Rohde is an independent singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer crafting raw and intimate lo-fi indie music. Over the years he has sporadically released an eclectic mix of singles, self recorded in a number of different small bedroom studios. Oftentimes his music is created through a come what may, experimental recording process, leaning heavily on highly modified samples combined with looped, live instrumentation and raw, unabashed, personal lyrics. His music has been featured on local and international radio stations such as Triple J, PBS, and RRR as well as being featured in critically acclaimed director, Lou Quill's documentary "Blood, Sweat and Sequins" which aired on Foxtel, SBS and was later added to streaming platform, Netflix. After 3 years of musical hiatus, with his time being consumed by the birth of his two daughters Jacob has recently completed writing for an untitled 4 track EP set for release in late 2023.
