Bio

Jake Hoskins prepares for his latest single release "Uncle Shoes" with a headline show in Brisbane on September the 21st and a W.A. tour in October. After beginning a music degree and performing at QPAC, Jake has been recognised nationally from working with artists such as Angie Mcmahon at a songwriting camp in Sydney and festival performances alongside Mason Rack band, Little Billie and more.

In earlier years, Jake has had multiple EP releases (Heartleap Lane (2016) and Signs in the sky (2017)) with tours Australia wide.

If you haven't seen Jake perform, expect a blues and roots style that boasts catchy melodies, soul-powering vocals with prominent falsetto, dynamic guitar playing and honest lyrics.

Jake constantly writes and evolves musically by connecting the messages and ideas behind the lyrics to the instrumentation in a thoughtful way. Jakes shows are renowned for impressing large crowds with his high energy and feel-good, toe-tapping sounds.
