About
Jake Kelly is a singer/songwriter who has produced three independent albums. 'A While' was created in 2006 and caused him to be picked up by Carclew to play at their Off The Couch Acoustic night in February 2007, as well as the Adelaide Fringe in years 2007 and '08, the 2007 Carclew Youth Music Forum and the Royal Adelaide Show ('07). In Early 2007 he was hooked up with a mentor to prepare for the Fringe 'Fresh Bait' event, and had the privilege of meeting Peter Arthur of 'Rustflower', who recorded him on a CD later to be dubbed 'The Shed Sessions'. This captured his performing style of the time in a raw live studio recording. Jake's most recent collection- 2008's 'Patchwork' was a step away from his roots, using loops and Reggae rhythms as well Spanish, Jazz and traditional Folk influences.
