Bio

There’s something spellbindingly grounded about the music that Jake Meadows has just let land. His first single Echo of Tomorrow is a clear and honest portrait of the artist’s imprint. With Daniel Johns as an honoured collaborator, Meadows has created a modern marriage of true analog and electronic.
Echo of Tomorrow is rhythmic, enigmatic, textured and exposes a beautiful emotive aesthetic for the listener. Meadow’s voice paired with his inherent harp playing creates a new aura that is honest and exudes a sense of bittersweet grace.
Meadow’s signature sound built from years of experimenting with modern electronic techniques, classical harp and rich harmonious layers has featured as part of John’s recent shows. Now in this collaboration – the sound is transported as a strikingly focused, honest and innovative debut.
The single is the first to be released from Jake Meadow’s upcoming EP “Good Company”. Johns is full of praise for his friend: “Jake Meadows is a poet with too many notes. A musician with too much to say, a true original who inspires and rolls music into movies. “Good Company” is proof that friendships can be born from art”.

Just casually brings Daniel Johns on for debut single. No biggie.

This certainly is beautiful. Having played harp in Daniel Johns' live show it's nice of Daniel to return the favour and add some tones to this one.
