      About

Tom Dickins and Jen Kingwell discovered a shared love of Nick Cave, Regina Spektor, eyeliner and theatrical musical convention when they met in 2009. The immediate creative chemistry between the pair has transformed into a dynamic visceral performance which leaves the audience gasping for more. The duo have supported Amanda Palmer both in Aus and OS, and more recently the Dresden Dolls on their national Australian tour. However they are just as likely to be found playing intimate house gigs, Fringe festivals and haphazardly organised Twitnics (picnics promoted via Twitter), as well as mega rock shows in London’s Heaven nightclub to the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall. 2012 sees The Jane Austen Argument releasing their debut studio album "Somewhere Under the Rainbow", which was completely funded by music lovers all over the globe via a crowd-sourcing campaign with Pozible.com.
