Bio

Sibling duo JANEY have entered the sonic realm with a dark electronic dream pop sound sitting somewhere between Bruce Springsteen and Haim. Members Sarah and Billy Otto have been noted for their high energy and eccentric live performance. The Newcastle natives heralded their debut track; the synth anthem, ‘Today Could Be the Day’, through a nationwide Jetstar campaign. ‘L.A.’, their soon to be unleashed sophomore single was produced in collaboration with Gang of Youths drummer, Donnie Borzestowski, and mixed by Veronica Ferraro (P!NK, David Guetta, Kelly Rowland). Prolific songsmiths and reflective thinkers, JANEY are excited to release their debut EP later this year, expressing to the world their existential questions and the rawness of life. This is JANEY.

Love those low-key whispery moments & the excitement that builds with the synths shaking you back into the party moments of the song.

I remember really liking some of JANEY's older tracks so I'm stoked to be hearing a new release from the duo now. They've only sharpened those dazzlingly bright pop chompers. This is gleaming.
