Essentially still a rookie in rap. JayK is an up and coming MC hailing from Brisbane. His unique laid back voice, flow and lyrical structure is what sets him apart from most other Australian MC's. In 2012 JayK decided to try his hand at hip hop despite having no musical background or songwriting experience. This proved to be no problem. Over the past couple of years he has worked on developing and imroving his lyrical abilities, along the way gaining a loyal fan base with his crisp delivery and relatable topics despite releasing unedited tracks with minimal mixing. In 2014 JayK linked up with GLD for his upcoming "Features" EP set to be released mid 2015, he is also currently working on other upcoming projects with various hip hop artists from around Australia. 2015 is shaping up to be a game changer for JayK and he has proved that he is definitely one to watch in the future.
