Bio

Je Bahl is a quirky dance music project combining house, funk and disco.

Artist Brandon Meyer grew up in a charming suburb on the fringe of Launceston called Summerhill. In his early life Meyer remembers mostly spending time outside and in his music it shows. Summertime is never far away when you listen to Je Bahl, his grooves put your mind at ease and your body in motion.

The rest of the band is made up of loyal friends from nearby neighbourhoods. Coming and going as they like the band has developed an optimistic philosophy toward playing together, “as we grow, so does our music and so does our band". Collectively they are vibrant, youthful and eager to shake up the Australian music scene. In February 2018 the group delivered an outstanding and hilarious music video portraying a group of young friends enjoying a cocktail party until somebody spikes the drinks and things start getting weird. Since then the group has progressed quickly releasing a second single in July and a third in September. They’ve also been enjoying support slots alongside Set Mo and KLP as-well-as featuring in Launceston’s Junction Arts Festival.
