Bio

Jeenie started back in 2014 originally as a trio made up of current members Scot Rose, Christian Kafritsas and Joshua Oates that shared broad interests from 1970's progressive Rock, Funk, Blues and Hip Hop.

In 2016 Jeenie picked up Antonio Ferlini on vocals, a fresh faced Brazilian that soon became a rhyming mastermind on the mic and sparked an instant musical chemistry that recreated the ‘new’ Jeenie. As a four-piece the group rapidly wrote a live set list of originals with a quicker, groovier and aggressive sound, but still holding down the funk. They became a rock group that mixed the genres of funk, hip hop and hard rock.

Jeenie released their debut EP ‘Hypnotized’ released in August 2019. The blistering, speed funk of 'Spit It' is the first single of the EP and the rest is available to buy and stream online now.
