Artist:Jenna Murphy

Jenna Murphy is striving to create a new sound. She mixes folk melodies and electric guitar with layers and layers of juxtaposed harmonies that wash over you like a cool breeze. Her songs have a melancholy that remind you of forgotten lovers and but an optimism of things to come. Originally from Ireland but having lived in Sydney for the past 8 years her sound is a tug o' war of old and new where tradition is turned on its head in the subtlest of ways.
