Jerome Fandor is a Sydney based Soul/RnB singer-songwriter who, inspired by classic performers like Prince, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder and production artists such as Flying Lotus and J Dilla re-imagines classic soul music through the prism of modern hip-hop and electronica.

Jerome Fandor spent years writing and performing with the likes of Good Buddha, Papertoy and Mailer Daemon until 2014, which saw the release of his debut EP titled ‘Utopia’, an uplifting and thoughtful exploration of lost dreams, loved ones and voices.

Utopia is about coming to grips with loss and seeing beauty in these moments – and realising that there’s hope out there even if it doesn’t seem possible.

Engineered and co-produced by Sydney/Melbourne based hip-hop audio imaginist Ishu (Hau, Hermitude, Omar Musa); the five-tracker features skilful beat production and searing electronic synths coupled with lush live instrumentation.
