Bio

Melbourne based folk songstress Jess DeLuca has quickly been stealing hearts with her poetically honest and captivatingly bold songwriting since her debut single ‘Lucifer’ was released only months ago.

Raised in Northern Victoria, Jess finds herself always grounded by music, listening to The Beatles, Thirsty Merc, John Mayer and Laura Marling. Jess is drawn to weaving melodies and witty wordplay which undoubtedly come through in her music.

Jess spent most of 2017 recording and mixing her debut EP which will be released at the end of the year. The EP has 5 tracks, all recorded at Echidna Studios in the Yarra Valley. Shortly after the release of ‘Lucifer’ Jess went back to the Yarra Valley with a film crew to shoot the debut Music Video for ‘Lucifer’ which was premiered by local music video blog ‘Trouble Juice’.

‘Lucifer’, Jess’ debut single has already locked in rotation with national and community radio stations. This was an incredible milestone though it is just the beginning for Jess as plans go ahead with the next single release ‘Woods’ coming soon.
