Brisbane-based Jess Mayhem wanted to be a rock star when she was 7. She’s now a folk pop girl which might not sound quite as cool but it’s probably better this way... Jess learned the guitar at 10 and forgot how to live without one. At 20 she’s finally started letting people listen to the songs she’s been singing in her bedroom for years, and is working on plenty of new stuff.
