Bio

In recent years, Jesse Madigan has been performing and writing in several projects, as he’s created and refined his own unique sound. The release of his Debut solo album ‘Nothing Better Than A Journey To You’ marks a new era for Jesse, as he branches out on his own as a solo artist. The album explores seasons and transitions, inspired by the beautiful landscapes of the NSW coast, in particular Newcastle, where Jesse is based, a place where it’s natural beauty and upcoming music scene inspires a raw and honest sound. The upcoming album consists of 10 tracks, and was recorded through 2018-19 in Jesses Newcastle home studio, as well as in Victoria with Greg Walker in November last year.

Call it Bon Iver meets The Middle East. I'll just call it another unmissable moment from Jesse's gorgeous album.

there is a beautiful timelessness to this song, while still showing off Jesse as a young songwriter carving his own sound.
