After surviving the rigors, tortures and chronic self loathing inflicted on them by the music education system, Jester Crew have banded together and found solace in fat beats, the head nod and booty moving grooves. Desperate to move as far away from an over complicated Jazz mis-education, the exiles took their passion for West Coast G-Funk and Aussie Hip Hop and decided to use their skills for good instead of evil. With a love for all things bouncy and all things Australian, their unique sound was created. Featuring a strong back line of keys, drums and bass, Jester Crew also sports afro percussion, sax, synth, lush harmonies and a vocalist that sits on that line right between singer and MC. Since they formed in 2008 Jester Crew have played alongside local and interstate bands including Direct Influence, King Farook, Ray Man Three and Unleash the Nugget.
