Keeping one foot in the blues while using the other to stomp through other genres at will. The Jimmy Bazil Project has spent the last 2 years honing a style. But not wanting to take the car out of the shed before it can drive. The boys have worked intently on getting their sound locked down. All this work has culminated in their first studio Ep, "Tall Tales, Promises & Empty Words" Trying to get the same energy of their live performance on to the cd the tracks were recorded live, with minimal overdubs at; Sun, Hungry Sun studios with engineer Adam Hills. The result is a gritty, full sounding, un-autotuned cross-section of their eclectic and sometimes erratic songwriting.
