Bio

The Melbourne 5-piece (none of whom are actually called Jimmy) offer dark melancholic pop songs. Jimmy Tait swerve through genres; angular guitar driven noise floats in to sparsity and space. The band’s name takes after singer and songwriter Sara Retallick’s late grandfather, James Tait, a drover from Katunga in rural Victoria. Much like the pseudonym implies, Retallick refuses to play the femme fatale.

By the time this song's done Jimmy Tait will have left their mark on you. It'll be seared like a scar from a branding iron too. These guys pack mood, playing and resonance into their tunes.
