Deep in the forests of southern Victoria there lives a creature commonly known as the battle turkey. It subsists largely on a rare breed of fern, and is often seen chasing startled humans out of its territory, and bathing in the creeks it calls home. Due to its ferocious temperament, and insistence on solitude, many legends have grown to prominence over the last century. Most popular of all is the belief that should one ingest the egg shells of a recently hatched battle turkey, they will gain a greater understanding of their place in the universe. I am here to prove those people wrong...
