JOANNA is a new Australian, solo artist who grew up in the Pilbara region of Western Australia and lives in Perth. After a couple of years of no fixed address in New York, couch surfing everywhere from Queens to the Upper East Side, JOANNA wrote songs for other artists ranging in genre from hip hop to reggae to rock. After moving back to Oz, raising her 2 sons alone & putting her music 2nd for the first time in her life, she sneakily submitted her own personal demo backstage at a gig for long time aquaintance Shaggy & his producer liked what he heard. JOANNA flew back to New York and spent 3 days in the recording studio without sleep or venturing outside. The result was an EDM based 5 song ep co-produced by 7 time Grammy nominated "GC" that has just released worldwide this December 2017.
