Artist:Joe Forrester

Joe Forrester is an alternative folk musician from Melbourne, Australia who began steadily working with his acoustic guitar after the metal band he was playing drums in fell apart post high school. For this reason Forrester has always felt like an outsider to acoustic music, but loves the simplicity of the craft and it's ability to bare-bones focus on words and personality to connect with a room. 10 years on, Forrester has released six ep's, one extended ep and one studio album (self-titled, available on all popular streaming services), has performed with the likes of Courtney Barnett, Vance Joy and Marlon Williams, received glowing reviews and national airplay. Forrester's musical allies lean closer towards the odd, such as Neutral Milk Hotel, Joanna Newsom, Ani Difranco, Bill Callahan (Smog), CocoRosie and Bonnie 'Prince' Billy.
