The Brisbane based singer/songwriter has performed as a soloist and with a band alongside some of Australia's top acts such as Wolfmother, Eskimo Joe, The Living End, Karnivool, The Screaming Jets, Thirsty Merc, Jebediah, Pollyanna, Diesel, Jonothan Boulet and Shihad. Joel has an incredible amount of live performance experience opening Main Stage at Splendour in the Grass Sunday August 1, 2010 with his Alternative Rock band RVLR

Joel’s track "Smoke and Mirrors" the first single lifted from the debut EP has been spun on Commercial radio station Nova 106.9fm in Brisbane and i98fm Australian Music Program in Sydney. Joel Myles is an artist with a gift for clever wordplay. His songs are diverse, engaging and catchy. Not your typical singer-songwriter, Joel produces music from electronic grunge pop to Australian guitar rock. Joel has been influenced by many guitar driven bands such as Powderfinger, Foo Fighters, R.E.M, Silverchair and mixes his musical interests in Blur, The Beatles, Joy Division, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Whitlams and Josh Pyke into a unique Pop Rock Australian sound that sets him apart from other Male artists.
