Joeschke (pronounced yooshka) is 21 year old, Adelaide-based multi-instrumentalist, Joe Kitschke. Joeschke takes inspiration from everyday life to construct music that is reflective, simplistic, and real. With the belief that music creation should not be financially exclusive, Joeschke utilises rudimentary software programming and instrumentation to produce a bedroom-pop sound that is unique, uncomplicated and raw.
Joeschke released his debut EP, Suburban, in September of 2020. Suburban was the product of years of dabbling with recording and venting through song; with the COVID-19 isolation period spurring on its eventual completion as a wholistic project. Joeschke explores the themes of his suburban upbringing, navigating same-sex relationships in a cishet society, and appreciation for his home of Adelaide. Suburban is available to stream on Spotify and Apple Music, and Joeschke is on Instagram and Twitter.
