      About

Emerging in 2019, Jono's Mate Sheep, a philosophical punk band, began with a raw acoustic set and has since transformed into a captivating four-piece outfit drawing inspiration from The Church, Frightened Rabbit, The Smith Street Band, and Ruby Fields. In 2023, they shared stages with Kim Churchill, Money Boys, The Bennies, Purple Zain, and Power Drill, leaving an indelible mark across the Gold Coast and Northern New South Wales with their mesmerizing live performances. Their latest single, "A Little Life," and debut EP, "A Stroke of Insight," are testaments to their songwriting prowess. The band’s dynamic melodies and emotionally stirring ambience create an atmosphere that envelops the listener, drawing them into a world of contemplation and introspection. Their upcoming run of shows promise a new dimension to their already mesmerising repertoire. Fresh, unreleased bangers are set to take centre stage as the band embarks their inaugural Victorian tour.
