After beginning 2019 by scrounging together an incredibly rough acoustic set for their first ever show, philosophical punk band Jono's Mate Sheep are launching into 2020 with their Debut EP, A Stroke of Insight.
A Stroke of Insight signifies the start of a unique journey for the epic melancholic four-piece, with themes of existential anxiety, poverty, addiction and suicide bought forward by profound lyrics which are characterised by both personal and observed experiences. Amplified by dynamic melodies and emotionally stirring ambience, A Stroke if Insight is an EP that leaves people both contemplative and inspired.
The Sheep's Debut EP builds on a special 2019, which saw the bands formation, the release of their debut single, supporting international act Maiorano in Byron Bay, and packing out venues across the Gold Coast including Vinnies Dive and The Coolangatta Hotel.
March 7 (EP LAUNCH) - Vinnies Dive, Gold Coast
March 17 (EP LAUNCH) - Howl & Moan Records, Byron Bay
April 4- BBQ Bazaar, Burleigh Heads
