Fremantle born, Australian Roots performer Jordan McRobbie has fast become known for his honest voice and virtuosic ability on the 12 and 6 stringed guitars. Over his short career he’s released two EP’s to Sold-out crowds, toured nationally and taken out multiple songwriting and performance awards including the West Australian Blues/Roots Song of the year for his track ‘High Tide’ that’s garnered the young artist airplay on local and commercial radio nationwide including Triple J.

After a massive year in 2014 supporting acts such as Fat Freddy’s Drop and The Beautiful Girls as well as performances at the ‘ West Coast Blues n Roots Comp’ and Nannup and Fairbridge Folk Festivals 2015 saw McRobbie on a 21-date national tour including an appearance on the Busking Stage at the Byron Bay Bluesfest and an award-winning set at the Perisher Peak Festival followed by a 25-show Snowy Mountains residency in July, performances at the Wingham Akoostic and Murwillumbah Country Roots Festivals and a support slot for Angus and Julia Stone.

2016 will already see Jordan touring WA with the Beautiful Girls again and then nationally in support of his new single 'Candle' with his full band including shows at the Illawarra, Fairbridge Folk and Perisher Peak Festivals!

“Jordan McRobbie is an amazing contemporary finger-style guitarist. He has complete command of his instrument with intense guitar percussion, finger tapping, and lightning fast Celtic grooves! And this guy can sing! A great, strong, clear and articulate voice. His performance had 100% commitment with the intensity of tightly wound steel spring. He even added harmonica to the performance, truly a modern day one man band!”
