Bio

Jordan St. Quintin is a Pop/RnB vocalist reigning from the West Coast of Australia. At a young age Jordan dove into the realm of jazz and soul music, further expanding his love and experience with woodwind instruments, the clarinet and saxophone. During his youth, Jordan showed promise and technique by winning local music festivals and poetry awards, which would further come into play when he began his songwriting career. Throughout high school Jordan began to drift from his jazz and soul roots and became fascinated with the world of pop music. During his time as a student Jordan found himself spending all of his free time surrounded by music, although it wasn't until his final years of high school that Jordan’s music teacher’s realised he had a gift.

After graduating high school in 2012, Jordan became lost and aimless as most teens do, and found himself questioning what was next. It wasn't until mid 2014, when an unintentional cover video caught the eye of its original artist, Melbourne rapper Tom Gaynor aka Allday. Tom proceeded to share the video onto his private account and Jordan felt he was being pointed in the right direction. Then feeling inspired, he began searching for music producers in Perth and stumbled across Rob Agostini of Soundbaker studios. Rob and Jordan then proceeded to work on a four track EP entitled ‘Glass Ceiling’. Jordan began to see success in his music when he was approached by a couple of indie labels, enquiring about further projects. Six months after his debut EP, Jordan dropped his first single ‘Runaway’ from his then upcoming EP ‘Insomniac’. ‘Runaway’ put Jordan on the map, charting at #1 on Triple J Unearthed, as well as gaining him his first interviews and plays on commercial radio. St. Quintin also then began to obtain some online interest from blogs in the USA.

Fast forward to 2017, and Jordan had found himself working with some of the best producers in the country. Taking a few years off to work on his sound, Jordan is set to take the Melbourne scene by storm with help from the likes of ARIA award winning producer Cam Bluff and other notables such as on the rise producer ZAM and Slink (LA). With a catalogue of new incredible songs behind him, it’s not a matter of if, but when.

This is smooooooth. Jordan's voice is complimented perfect by (as usual) expert production from Cam Bluff. The sound is classic modern R&B just has a very light feel to it. Like driving from your girl's place as the sun rising. Narly nailing his verse as well.
