Like a familiar taste in a peculiar place - Moments nostalgic but intriguing. Joseph’s Coat can only be described as eclectic. Epitomised by their brand of psychedelic-esque, funk/rock/reggae-fusion, allay an essence of grungy surfer roots. The last year saw Josephs Coat writing and recording new material, road testing it on the kids, the fans, the bearded TAB cobbers. The boys locking down some cracking shows in between all the fun, with the likes of British India, Dead Letter Circus and Boo Seeka. As brothers Ben and Abe have been writing music together since little brother Ben started writing guitar riffs for big brother Abe's band. Abe found a way to get him "in" the band. They needed a drummer, so they handed him some sticks.
