Bio

Josh Lee Hamilton from the Northern Rivers of NSW (Byron Bay) is known for his smooth and captivating sound, engaging the listener with honest and heartfelt songs that tell stories of love, struggles, relationships, and faith.
Josh’s diverse palate of musical influences over the years, have all contributed to the crafting of his unique sound and songwriting. Similarly his music invokes references to a variety of artists such as Ryan Adams , Ben Howard, Gregory Alan Isakov, Paper Kites and Vance Joy.

Josh’s accolades so far as an independent musician, include being featured on Triple J radio station, winning the 2017 NCEIA Dolphin Awards for “Best Songwriter” and for “Best Alternate/Indie Song”, performing at festivals such as “Splendour in the Grass” and playing support for renowned artists such as Garrett Kato and Caravãna Sun.
On the back of the “With the Wind” Australian Tour in late 2018, Josh is back in the studio working on a new album, due to be released in the summer of 2019, with some singles to be released on the way.

Never a disappointment with this artist.

Magic.

When you first listen to this song you can totally hear that surfer-guitarist vibe come through but, before that thought is complete those vocals trickle in and give you full body shivers. This is so great!
